School Life

Here at Meadowbrook Academy, our students have several opportunities to participate in activities both in and out of the classroom.

  • Cash for clothes

This school fundraiser takes place on Fridays. It gives faculty and students the opportunity to wear clothing items other than the required uniform. The cost is $1.00 for the first non-uniform clothing item, and $.50 for each additional item after that.

  • Chapel services

At MBA, godly character is number one. We truly believe it is more important for kids to value Christ-like character than anything else.

As part of chapel services, students experience amazing worship and excellent teaching from the Next Generation Ministry team from Meadowbrook Church, faculty and special guests. Elementary students have chapel services on the first Tuesday of every month, middle school and high school students will have chapel services on the second and fourth Thursdays.

In addition, all elementary and secondary students have daily Bible classes.

  • field trips

Field Trips are planned by the teacher to enhance the curriculum. When field trips are planned, teachers will send home information regarding the trip with students. Each class hosts multiple field trips throughout the school year. Please contact your child's teacher for a current list of scheduled field trips.

  • Harvest night

We'll have fun out on the farm. High schools students enjoy good food, line-dancing and a bull-ridin' good time.

  • Fall festival

This event takes place in November as our annual fall celebration. Elementary students and teachers, along with help from secondary students and parents, setup carnival-style booths, for all to enjoy. This event also features hayrides, prizes and give-a-ways. With parents and siblings welcome, it is sure to be fun for the entire family!

  • Spirit Week

Show your school spirit when you dress up each day of the week during Homecoming Week. We will announce the special theme for each day one month prior.

  • winter formal

Following Homecoming week, we reserve an elegant evening for our high school students. This theme night includes dinner, dancing, and formal pictures. Tickets are required to attend the event.

  • Middle School Madness

Middle schoolers get in on the fun at our annual Middle School Madness. We celebrate our middle school grades with a trip to either Wayne's World for paintball or to Skate-A-Way South to skate.  More information is provided by the middle school teachers in the spring.

  • Chick-fil-a leader academy

Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™ is a national high school leadership program focused on impact through action. The world needs more leaders who impact their local communities, and we believe high school students are the answer!
